56K Software Data/Fax/Voice Modem Card
There are 5 models for the latest of D-Link products which already approved in Indonesian type Approval. Now is about D-Link DFM-562IS 56K Software Data/Fax/Voice Modem Card. The type approval certificate has been issued in February 5th 2009. The DFM-562IS software modem card is a V.92/V.90 56Kbps analog modem designed the desktop computer. It plugs a PCI bus of the computer and connects to a telephone port to provide desktop computer users with a dial-up connection to the Internet.
The DFM-562IS modem offers a fax transfer send and receive rate of up to 14.4Kbps in addition to communications software that is compatible with AT commands. This modem performs V.42bis & MNP 2-4 data compression and error correction for fast and reliable transmission/reception.
This software-based modem has fewer components on-board, and is an ideal low-cost solution for desktop computers with faster processors. Your computer’s CPU will perform some of the communication tasks for the modem.
