I have handled with Indonesia approval around 10 applications via several agents, and I was looking for the reliable agents for coming seven new projects for Indonesia approval when I sent an inquiry to you. Sorry to say, I have already decided two agents to deal with these new projects on last Thursday. If you are still interested to work with us, I would appreciate you to provide the certificate/test fee and lead-time. Then I can list your company for Indonesia approval agents if the cost and lead-time are reasonable.
As for the technical data of EUT, we can not disclose to you for the quotation purpose since we have made non-disclosure agreement with our clients. As far as I understand, “Bluetooth” or “802.11b/g” are good enough to provide the price information. Please let me know what kind of information you want to know for the quotation, then I will provide them to you later.

Thank you for your reply. Too bad that your ready made an agreement regarding to the seven new projects with other agents.
But nevertheless here are the prices and fees for your 802.11 b/g module, bluetooth module.
Testing Fee:
1. > 100 mW Rp. 2.000.000
2. < 100 mW Rp. 4.000.000
Certificate Fee:
* CPE Nirkabel Rp. 3.000.000
Management Fee:
* Ranges between Rp. 3.000.000 – Rp. 5.000.000 (negotiable)
* Based on the quantity of your applications.
* Charge based per Certificate.
* More than two applications, we will give you a special discount
* This price include all the process from application to certificate except if you need any formal letter from Directorate General of Pos and Telecommunication (DGPT)regarding export to Indonesia and indonesian custom should you wish to export your devices during the certification process.
Speed up Fee:
* The Speed Up fee depends on the negotiation with the authorities which incharge in the type approval process. ( + around Rp. 3.000.000 )
PS: Currency rate 1 USD = Rp. 8.700

In case of Speed-up process, how fast you can get certificate?

I understand the local testing is mandatory, but what kind of testing does DGPT conduct?
I assume they only confirm the normal operation. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Question 3: Number of Actual projects
How many applications have you submitted to GDPT? I only want to know your experience for wireless applications.

Question 1: Lead-time
In case of Speed-up process, how fast you can get certificate?
Answer:
Depend on the negosiation with the authorities whom incharge in Type approval process. Usually with speed up process, we could get it done in around 30 working days. In normal process it tooks around 60 working days to complete the certification.
Question 2: Testing
I understand the local testing is mandatory, but what kind of testing does DGPT conduct?
I assume they only confirm the normal operation. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Answer:
It is correct. DGPT test house only conduct normal operation process to determine the result wether the device could be use in Indonesia or not. It would be different if DGPT order to test the device at TelkomRisTi test house because there are some cases where the device could not be tested in DGPT test house since they don’t have the right equipment to do it.

How many applications have you submitted to GDPT? I only want to know your experience for wireless applications.
Answer:
This would be a difficult question to answer because our company started doing business in Indonesian type approval since 2004. But i would give you a clue. Here are our previous and actual clients in 2007:
